ABOUT THE AUTHOR
A son of the new South, Sam Schaber has been writing nearly all of his life. From flash fiction, short stories, and fanfiction, his repertoire is ever-growing. Now, with the release of his first mass-market title: “Blue Blood of Cardiss: Ascendancy” he hopes to share his joy of writing and the worlds inside his head with the whole world.

In the Void, a special little stone floats, upheld by the invisible force known as Sa.
The ancients tell that the stone once hosted three races, the elves, dark elves, and the dragons.
In the end of the First Era the dark elves and dragons conspired to wipe the elves from the face of the sacred stone. Thus, Dragonworld was filled with the victorious races of dark elves and dragons.
As a result, the dark elves and dragons began to breed, taking this little stone, known as Dragonworld, in to their own hands.
It looked as if this period of time would last indefinitely… then the dirtmen came to Dragonworld…
